I just Queue with my Diamond 5 buddy, I'm Platinum 2. During champion select, My ADC was Gold 4. How is this ok? There is no way i'm supporting a Gold 4 in 1900+ MMR.
Please fix it so Plats are unable to Elo boost their low gold friends.
Reeplay2 votesI'm plat 5 atm and got faced against a Silver 3 earlier this week who was queued with his friend...felt really bad for his teammates (one was in last game for series out of gold 1) and just quit attacking him until he /all about his jungle being worthless.
ZeeWolfZ2 votesI hate having low elos in my teams. With this Dynamic Queue it happens very often. I op.gg every one of them within 30 seconds to make sure I don't have anyone dragging my team down. If I do, I dodge or call them out hoping they will dodge. Losing 3 LP is better than losing 17.

Its a problem that exclusively came about because of the removal of solo queue and the institution of Dynamic queue. The average distance between the highest ranked player on a team and the lowest on a team has tripled or more when compared to previous seasons. I have personally seen differences of up to 1000 MMR between the highest ranked player on a team and the lowest.
Naturally this has had a disastrous effect on the competitive integrity of the ladder. There is no solution, Riot will never give us solo queue back and Dynamic will always have this issue. The only real solution is to simply stop playing this game. Its a shit game any ways.
This from a diamond player who has quit. The best advice I can offer you is to follow that lead and walk away from the game permanently.
ZeeWolfZ2 votesI feel you. I solo climbed to Diamond 4 last season. Was placed into Plat 2 this season and failed 2 promos already. The game is fuckin easy, the issue is having 4 man premade who tag along their Low golds and give them any role. While they are there to have "fun", I personally want to win.
This season, there are so many new untested Ideas that are shoved into a small season for profit. The balance was always an issue but never to such extent. Now we have 140 Champions and 6 bans.
When I played in Tournaments, you could see most played champions on opponent's team and bans were truly strategic. However, in basic ranked rounds, you are unaware of most played champions and you cannot strategically ban. Now we have tank APs who dominate the game: Maokai, Malphite, Ekko, Naut, etc., because of how cheap and overloaded Tank items are. (2,700G vs 3400-3700G for AD)
I went from playing several times a day to once every several days. League has never been so disappointing. Riot's current priority is to cater the Bronze/Silver/Golds because they make up 91% of the League Community. Therefore, top 9% are suffering and quitting the game.
It is rather disappointing.
