Just delete Runnan's Hurricane already

Please, delete this stupid item. I don't know how many times I've had to endure the pain of watching someone rush it and having them be useless for every fight. It's not good on Varus, it's not good on Kayle, it's not good on Teemo..........it exists only as a noob-trap item. Varus players especially always rush this thing for some reason. They ignore the fact that it gives no worthwhile combat stats and provides only minimally increased pushing power and slight AoE DPS. It's crap in lane, and there are FAR better choices in teamfights. For anyone reading this, NEVER buy Runnan's Hurricane unless you want some serious flaming done to you. The item is absolutely shit and should be deleted. Thanks.

Spreading on hit effects is it's niche, which is happens to be literally the best at. So I'd say it fills that niche well.

If your only criterion is just that rather than "and is also a good item", then sure, I guess.

And unless they're going to redesign the various on-hit items, hurricane would be much better off not having AS at all, and instead having a truckload of AD. As a carry item it is competing with other far superior items, chiefly because those other items both have crit and do not actively not work with it. For on-hit champions the additional AS is often overkill because every on-hit item that isn't mallet (which they wouldn't build anyway because it's arguably even worse) already has a boatload of AS.

The item is great on Kayle, Teemo, Twitch, Caitlyn... that's about it. Varus, maybe but there are much better things like PD for the way he works. It should NEVER be rushed that's where those people went wrong. The others though it works great because it procs several abilites of theirs (i.e cait's passives, kayle's e, teemo/twitch poison).

Nobody should ever build hurricane on Caitlyn. Ever. That decision is on a level of dumb approaching "Sivir wins against Caitlyn."

I never really get it unless I am a Teemo and even then its an item that I would only put in place of my boots if I'm dominating the enemy team and wanna just delete people in seconds xD

Other than that I do see it as a very weird item but it would have its uses just like any other item.

Or they could actually try to make it a decent item, but that would require Riot's itemization team to actually be competent and do something, so they're more likely just going to do as you ask and delete it like all the other items they can't be bothered to actually make useable.

I don't take Runnan's, I take Wit's end. Runnan's pushes the lane unnecessarily. Unless the nexus is getting swamped I always take Wit's End cuz it allows me to be tankier and shred more MR.

It's ok on Kayle and Teemo. It's a poorly designed item overall and should be reworked, though.

Step 1) Remove Recurve Bow from the game.

Step 2) Make a new item that builds out of two Daggers and grants 15 OnHit magic damage

Step 3) This new item gets included in Wit's and Hurricane now deals 15 OnHit magic damage, making it marginally better.

Yay?

i doubt i'd ever get it as a first item. if i'm playing an on-hit champion, i'd want to buy something to deal on-hit damage like nashor's or wit's end first. if the champion has built in on-hit damage that scales off of ap, i'd want a large ap item and/or nashor's/wit's end first. i'd probably get it as a 4th item at the earliest if i ever get it.

Adding to the list of champions who Runnan works on is Kalista. Indefinite stacking E + AoE + Bork seems like something I wanna test.

Umm dude, my core Teemo build is Nashors - Runaans - Deathcap, it's the best Teemo build in the game, you think your stupid Liandry's is any less of a trap item? At least Runaans is worth the gold you pay for it. Runaans forces you to focus Teemo first or lose the team fight, it literally triples his damage. He is about the shrooms, it's about the E.

Not to mention I got a super fun Miss Fortune build, (made for the purposes of having fun) that has great Synergy with Runaans.

Bloodthirster - Runaans - Black Cleaver.

The only reason to play MF is her ult, her doesn't crit but does apply stacks of cleaver, cleaver is a must on her and Bloodthister has always been strong on ADCs with good scaling spells like MF. Runaans will massively increase your healing from lifesteal giving you better duel potential and it'll hold stacks of cleaver or stack them during your ults downtime. Got a Riven top and a Zed mid of whom both have an undeserved boner for ghost blade? Pick MF and play for Synergy. Get yourself a Jarvan jungle and you can make it even more fun.
