Kalista is a popular LCS champion made by CertainlyT with hyper mobility.

It will be hard for her to lose popularity. Her win-rate took a huge drop though.

His champions tend to have huge pick-rates for some reason. Thresh, Yasuo, Kalista have never been unpopular. Darius always kept a decent pick-rate and Zyra only stopped seeing play when she got huge nerfs.

Zed is also very popular, even though he wasnt made CertainlyT alone, they are often connected in the mind of the playerbase.

They added a lever with which to balance her. The fact that its a buff or a nerf is sort of irrelevant. They can do something about her now and you can too in game. Kill or kidnap the support. If a roaming support meta arises, kalista will fall..
