Community: "Riot gives no fucks about X" / Riot, why do you not deny it?

darkdill··4 votes·269 views

Loads of topics go out claiming Riot simply doesn't care about Champions like Ashe, Lux, or Lee Sin. We clearly want them adjusted, but Riot just ignores everything and laughs at us from their cubicles for trying to entertain any notions of balance changes.

Are you going to deny this, Riot? Or will you let us continue destroying your reputation by saying on your behalf that you hate the community?

And for the record, I'm perfectly fine with slander and libel.

Riot hates us more than God does.

Just because they don't reply to every circle jerk thread or shitposts doesn't mean they don't care.

  • They've stated that Lux isn't in a bad spot and "fixing" her without turning her into a "long range assassin" would need more than a simple number tweak.
  • It's been strongly implied that Lee Sin is the "Renekton Bar" for the jungle, as he's strong enough to be a universal default pick, but not strong enough to warrant bans.
  • They don't need to post every 3 months reminding everyone that Ashe (and Varus) are strong when the meta favors them. She's also sitting on a 55% win rate in SoloQ, in an "unfavorable meta".

Maybe they feel that they have already stated something about them ago? Or that they feel that they might be in good places? And there is the whole thing of "he who denies it, supplies it".

IF they did admit they don't hate the community, which sounds like a pretty stupid sentence to me, then people start calling them liars. This isn't just "na unh we aren't" Riot would actually have to do something related to why people hate them, or why people think Riot hates them, and that can be hard since we are people and people are different.

If one person doesn't like something and they don't get it their way since they don't revert it, then can we honestly say that Riot hates that one person and wanted to spite them in particular? When you have a big community there are those who complain in a minority are classified as "one person" compared to the rest. Believe it or not a big portion of the community liked the Veigar changes and are also the same people who want him to be buffed again because of it.

Lol, "good places" for Ashe? Tell me you're joking. Kalista does everything she does but better. And in LCS, how often is Ashe picked? NEVER.

Just because a person isn chosen in LCS doesn't mean anything. They simply have a really strict meta. You also ignored what I sayed with "They may have already stated something about X champ" if that wasn't clear.

They have said absolutely nothing about Ashe, though. Not even a "she's fine" comment.

Then she might not be fine, and she may be worked on. Thing is, there are plenty more champs who need work on than she.

I don't care if there are others who need more work. The point is that Riot NEVER SPEAKS UP.

ModAcademy Kayn1 votes

Per say, just so I am clear in my next response, Riot never speaks up about what in particular?

About what they have planned for Champions that we ask about. Right now, they only care about "toxic" cases like Veigar.

But ask about Ashe or Lux? DEAD SILENCE.

Because they are not problems that needed fixing. I know how it feels to play a champ that feels weak in the meta but they're in a fine position. Guy up top explains it pretty damn well.
