So I just played Ziggs vs Azir for the first time
WTF is this? Let's see:
- he outranges my poke with his (maybe not on paper but the last bounce never actually hits a champion)
- his poke doesn't really need to be aimed and is easier to employ
- he does more damage early AND scales a ton better
- has mobility and can "insec" me for a quick assassination from a rather long range (especially with Flash like Annie)
- takes turrets nearly as fast while also being able to place turrets and having strong zoning tools too
This is after me playing Swain into Azir and getting zoned/poked all game. I chose Ziggs thinking that it would be a good matchup due to his range and supposedly decent early. However, Azir feels OP when played competently and I felt completely outclassed just by the kit. He has no real weaknesses and can even outplay assassins like Zed or LB although, he doesn't actually need to because he's way more useful than them come mid-late game in a teamfight.
