Why was Nasus buffed?

Honestly, why was this champion buffed? Who enjoys playing him or against him?

It's literally the most braindead champion in the game, bar none.

Not only is he braindead, he dictates the way his opponent is gonna play the game.

He won't even trade with you, all he wants to do is farm, and if you don't play by his rules, well, time to get camped and killed until Nasus can 100>0 you in 5 seconds. Seriously Riot? Fuck Nasus and fuck his buffs, if anything, he should be reworked and nerfed into unplayability.

Problem I have with nasus is how he gets so many stats for free 10-20% free life steal from passive, free "AD" from stacking Q, free armor pen from E and free HP, armor, MR and range from ult lul

Wow. Almost seems to be a common theme with juggernauts.

Most people would say that he was "Shit" in higher elos... But i never tought like that...

Tbh pretty stupid buff... Cuz he can even 1 v 2 top laner and jungler XD after mere 100 stacks with his stupid lifesteal passive, and 50% reduced Q cd with ult...

The thing that annoys me about Nasus is that, with max CDR, his slow has a near 100% uptime. Meaning late-game, there's... nothing you can do to him 1v1. Literally nothing. He will slow you and either walk away or, worse, walk towards you, beat you up until you die, and even if you flash over a wall, you still have three seconds of moving at the speed of frozen molasses for him to mosey on over around the wall, slow you again, and hit you again. I don't get it. His Q already lets him scale infinitely into late-game while building straight tank, why also make him the single best duelist in the game?

Because he couldn't keep up in today's meta. More mobile champs were able to out duel him through most of the match, while also enjoying a stronger early game.

Nasus struggled in team fights and his defenses fell off hard late game. He often lacked the tools to deal with the front line and the mobility to get to the back line. These changes were to help him be more relevant during the mid-late game.

he's not really that great. Got massive buffs and still hasnt cracked a 50% winrate.

Let's not over exaggerate. He got a QoL change on e and slight buff on Q while ulted. These are hardly notable to be called "massive".

I'm glad he got buffed. I enjoy playing him now =)

But don't worry. My jungler won't camp you even if you are pushing to my turret. And my bot lane will feed so you'll still win ;)

The issue with Nasus isnt in his numbers its in his Q, and until a full rework comes out and fixes that all Riot can do is try to tweak his numbers and make him viable in higher elos. Sadly this means that bronze/silver players that don't have the coordination to deal with him will suffer. I would look into what counters him in lane and play those things into him until a more favorable scenario rears its head. Until then, just kinda gotta deal with it.
