Question, is LeBlanc really strong?

From what ppl in LCS say and the complaints in this board you would assume LeBlanc is the premiere mage assassin that IS completely broken and OP.

But when you look at the numbers on champion.gg you dont see this:

  • Win Rate- --- 49.7% --- 29 / 45
  • Play Rate --- 6.27% --- 10 / 45
  • Ban Rate --- 35.73% --- 3 / 45
  • Playerbase Average
  • Games Played --- NaN --- 10 / 45
  • Gold Earned --- 12657 --- 27 / 45
  • Kills --- 9.73 --- 6 / 45
  • Deaths --- 6.5 --- 21 / 45
  • Assists --- 6.68 --- 39 / 45
  • Damage Dealt --- 23193 --- 26 / 45
  • Killing Spree --- 4.45 --- 1 / 45
  • Minions Killed --- 153.55 --- 42 / 45
  • Overall Placement --- 16 / 45

Above is the average by LeBlanc Players, then where this average is ranked vs the other 45 Mids.

When I see this, it is strange, despite how she has distort into shatter to wave clear now, she is still at the bottom for wave clear. You would think a assassin would have high Kills and damage, but LeBlanc doesn't, her damage is very average, and she is #6 in kills. Half of the Mid assassins have more kills than her. Leblanc also has a Win rate fo 49.7%

I would like Camille, Rengar, and Leblanc to not be perma bans in LCS. So that we could see the real ability of 10 bans. IMO Camille, and Rengar need nerfs. I think nerfs to LeBlanc would be unhealthy for her. Should we just accept that Ryze and LB are picks that are too strong because of the skill of the Pro players? How would you balance LeBlanc so that skilled players are rewarded for playing her, and everyone else has a win rate with her like she has right now near 50%?

Here's how I think about balancing.

Imagine a perfect player. Imagine someone so good at the game they know everywhere they should be and every move they should ever make.

Every different step taken by another player is not doing something new, different, etc. It's messing up.

If we're being nice and accommodating for someone who rarely messes up (Challenger players), every failed skillshot (that you should land, not expecting someone to hit every single Ekko W), bad map movement, or poorly engaged skillshot is simply error from what that champion should be.

And while there should be some room for error, it's not a good practice to balance champions around being played imperfectly. That just leads to overbuffing so when they're played almost perfectly they're unstoppable monsters (Azir all of S5).

Hence buffing LeBlanc so that lower elo players can play her is not a really great idea.

she is strong , her early mid game is very strong because the passive deals big dmg. I personally dont play her and i miss the old LB because the new one seems clunky and not fun to play (for me) but still you can do 50% of smns hp with just E --> E thunderlord + passive proc
