Please, do not revert Zac ult

I've read that Riot is considering reverting Zac's ultimate. I hope they won't, because it will remove skill from the champion and play-making potential. The current ultimate requires thought and may back-fire if used in the wrong way. You cannot just press R and get a result, you need to land E and you need to consider if it is worth to use it. Moreover it's also thematically fitting and very satisfying to use.

The old ultimate, instead, was literally no-brain. There was no reason not to use it: you would use it everytime there was a fight for random and easy disruption. No need to put thought on it, because it also allowed Zac to use W (the main source of damage) and to collect blobs (great form of sustain) while active. The old ultimate was toxic and brain-dead,

please Riot, reconsider your decision! If you want to buff zac, bring back some of his W's AP ratio, or give him some sort of resistance steroid when landing Q. I don't really know what could be the alternative, but I'm quite sure that reverting the ult will be a mistake

The old.ult was actually more skill intensive and used more thought as to when and how to use it.

It was a chase tool, a better engage tool, a disengage tool, a healing tool in fights, and it was a better peel tool to save teammates. It was unpredictable for enemies and allowed for aggresive get in and disrupt the enemy. It also wasn't hard countered by just spreading out a little bit making it a glorified long CD blitz hook.

Old ult was better and Zac never needed an ult change.

Agreed, I also want his new ultimate to stay.

One goal of the tank update for Zac was to make him represent his fantasy better. I think that his new ultimate is clearly superior over the old one when it comes to that.

Also it synergises with his kit insanely better and more intuitively. Now, you can jump in, then either use Q to bring 2 enemies close together to R them into your team, or R directly and then Q the enemies to keep them disrupted.

Now you jump in, can bring enemies together with Q.... just to split them up again with the R? His current R creates good, precise gameplay with much thought behind it. The old R is just creating chaos in teamfights by knocking away enemies left and right.

Zac's R is the most satisfying ultimate on any tank champion I am playing in this game, seeing this removed really hurts my soul. I had a great time with this skill, I pulled off amazing plays with it which I could never do with a random knockup like his old R. I wish we could stop the revert, but I guess it is unlikely that they will change their mind on that....

I have play the the reverted Zac, he is incredibly worse, they took away what makes Zac fun -such as tower diving-and then tried to fit him into an ap bruiser.

I guess I am starting to understand why people say Riot is such a bad company.

Idk why they would revert the ulti. With zac’s low pickrate I guess we can expect to see him less

His new ult is a lot slower than his old one, and his old one was honestly more aesthetic than his new one. However, I will reluctantly agree with you that they keep the old one because of his new Q. I don't want to see the full AP Zac that lands E, lands the new Q to bash people's heads together, and press R to nuke TWO people instead of one - I don't think it'd be healthy for the game.

However, there are a lot of reasons to consider the reversion, the least of which being the tilting and unrewarding instance where you can quite literally pull the entire enemy backline under your tower only for your team to focus HELICOPTER MODE JAX and get shredded under it. The new one is good for team play, but too slow for pros. If they buffed it and made it a little more consistent, he'd see plenty of play without needing to be reverted.

Zac before revert: 5 picks/0 bans in LEC Spring, 17 Picks/18 bans in LCK Spring, 6 Picks/ 11 bans in LPL Spring and 4 Picks/4 bans in LCS Spring. (the regions i watch only) - 32 times picked and 33 times banned. Zac after revert: Just 2 picks and 1 ban. Conclusion: Reverting Zac was a complete mistake. I am sorry for getting his PP skin from "Your Shop" in April.

The new ultimate ruined the champion. Reverting Zac's ultimate is one of the best decisions Riot has ever made.
