No more robotic skins please :(

Today i went on surrenderat20, for my friend told me they announced "praetorian graves and fiddlesticks". These news got me excited, but at last I got really disappointed: reading the name I expected some weird Ancient Roman-tech skin line, instead, here's another generic mecha skin line. Don't get me wrong, some mecha skins are really cool (I own battlecast cho, mecha sion and aatrox), but I feel like riot is insisting too much on this theme.

Fiddlesticks mecha doesn't even make sense. Program Leblanc?? Program NAMI??? This is getting out of hand, at this point I expect them to pull out mecha teemo and then we are done.

Take a look at the mecha/cyborg skin lines: Battlecast Project Program Lancer Zero Full metal And now Pretorian. Almost half of the roster has a mecha skin. It would be nice if we could get some lore related skin-lines.

TL,DR: praetorian skins are disappointing, it's just another mecha skinline with a cool name slapped on it. Enough with robots, gibbe true ancient romans praetorians (or any other non mecha skin).

Right. Technology and futuristic related skins are seriously getting overplayed and the reveals are quite boring at this point. Whoop dee doo another champion clad in iron scraps with some police lights attached to them.

Add to that Steel Valkyries, Odyssey, and Mecha itself.

Doesn't Eternum also contribute to all this? Since they are also a futuristic skin line that are all about evolving into something greater.

My issue with the robot skin lines, is that most of the time they're full gray with 1 color to contrast. Now graves doesn't even have that 1 extra color.

I like colorful designs, I don't want all skins to be star guardians (don't like that skin line), but look at the new Halloween skins, they look so good with vibrant and varied colors.

Not to mention robots suck dick, I don't find them interesting in the least (not game robots at least). And they even put a robot EQ on the voice over, you know what they call bad voice over? ROBOTIC.

Anyway that's my rant and I agree.

I was kinda hoping for a mecha pilot Kled skin, but if you say there are just too many machine based skins, I guess I should just shut up and play Mecha Malphite or any of the other machine skins?
