I have a question, there are several sites that say they have custom skins you can use in game. These are made by people not from riot and are free to DL and install and use.
My question is, will riot spank me and take away my birthday if I use them?
I dont care about the "you gets virus for DLing them!!" stuff, because I wont. And I dont care to debate that point.
I just want to know Riots official stance.

As long as you don't interfere with the exe / ini file and so long as nothing gives you an advantage and only visible to you (which they are) you will be fine.

I'm glad to find out. I dont like to spend money on skins, and i personally find some of the default skins cringe-worthy.....looking at you 
SheikaRei1 votesOfficially it is a bannable offense, but if the custom skin doesn't affect anyone else in the game and you are the only one able to see it, they won't do much. This has more or less been said by riot themselves. It isn't that big of a problem but they can ban you for it. They justr more than likely wont if it doesnt affect other players.
