Midseason update request: can we just remove tanks as a class

I don't think they work well in with the modern concept of moba gaming. They were designed for PvE originally and letting tanky champs deal too much damage is a bit much. So rework team, while you guys are working on tanks, can you just channel everything you did to screw up some of your past reworks and multiply that by 10 so we never see a tank meta again?
