Suggestion about YI's Alpha Strike

SlashStriker··1 votes·423 views

What Alpha Strike is right now Active: Master Yi blinks to the target enemy, dealing physical damage to it and up to 3 nearby enemies, to then reappear next to his main target. Non-champions receive increased damage. Master Yi becomes untargetable over Alpha Strike's duration, and can Critical strike, dealing 60% bonus physical damage to all enemies. Basic attacks reduce Alpha Strike's cooldown by 1 second.

In addition to that Every damaged enemy is Marked for 3 seconds Master Yi can recast the ability for free to teleport and strike a marked target consuming all marks dealing physical damage equals 5% of target's max health + 15% of its missing health

The idea to the ADDITION part is to increase Yi's Mobility allowing him and his opponents to play around something

I think that's a huge jump for him and would turn him into Yas. I think just being able to mark the targets and jump back to one for quick single or double basic attack would be good.

how would that turn him into Yasuo?

Yasuo's [E] Sweeping Blade has 0.5 sec cooldown

Master Yi's [Q] Alpha Strike has 18 seconds cooldown

18 second cooldown.... without any CDR and with a faster cooldown on each strike if I recall correctly.

He's considered Up? Idk, I don't think a massive buff like this is good

Also his Alpha shouldn't be used as an engage normally, this is hurting his skillcap. I'm fine with yi buffs, but not something that makes him easier to play.

How is it increasing his skillcap? It's a point and click dash, it's not increasing his skillcap

When Yi damages enemies with alpha strike he marks them for short time. Enemies will know which targets are marked so both Yi and his opponents can play around that

The thing is that Yi engages in melee form leaving him very vulnerable requiring him to auto attack his opponents but the thing is he has no way to return to safety.

Many champions have reliable way to escape from danger. Some of these champions are Jax, Riven, Zed, Leblanc meanwhile Yi doesn't have anything like that

Meanwhile Ranged Champions are Ranged. They harass their opponents without needing to over extend. Master Yi? He needs to put himself in danger to do something taking harassment from his opponents and minions at same time with no way to return to safety

Also almost every champion in the league has some form of Crowd Control. Yi has none
