Right now I disable some sound (Q_Q I love the sound tho), enable low spec, close client during game, set settings down to lowest, hide eyecandy and so on. What about you, other potatofolks? :D
I tend to have to remove all other running applications including flux tho

Anyway, when I had a potato, the best thing that helped me was bringing particles down. Particles can be a huge drag on FPS in League, when teamfights start.
Disabling sound I don't think changes much so I think that's the one thing you can keep :D Disable V-Sync, play in Full screen, always disable shadows, disable HUD animations, and if you really must, limit frame rate to 30fps. Should give a more consistent experience. I'm not on a potato but these are the things I'd try.
