Please do not retire Dominion

Please do not retire Dominion. There is a significant segment of players (me included) whose main way of playing league is: Dominion + ARAM and that is it.

You need to have a variety of game styles. Classic is for the more involved, more lengthy, ARAM is more intense, and short, Dominion is fun and short.

Also, Hide and Seek, which is an immensely popular custom game mode (look in Custom Games. you always will see Hide and Seek) is played only on Dominion map.

Even a lot of Classicers play Dominion. Dominion is a good training ground for getting the feel of a champion in a quick way; people are also less salty on it too.

A lot of times when you come home from a long work day you just want to play short, low stress games, like Dominion. You don't have time for 40 minutes of drawn out play before going to sleep, sometimes you just want to play a short and fun game with a particular champion. Dominion is what kept me playing League for so long; the long, arduous (and sometimes boring + drawn out and covered in salts) classics got old very fast; I stayed just because of Dominion. The difference in play style and that creativity was interesting. When ARAM came out, it was Dominion + ARAM. (TT was also boring to me because it's similar to classic, but a lot of friends of mine play it because it's shorter and fun for them.) ARAM is a more intense game, and the game time is more variable. If I only have a little bit of time: Dominion. If I have more time: Dominion or ARAM (if willing for the intense part).

This is not a gameplay decision. There is no good reason for this. We don't care if it is "not up to par" it's better than axing it.

It's also such a shame, because I got my friend to give this game another chance so we could play hide and seek together and dominion and you are axing it.

I have to be honest, most likely after losing Dominion you will lose player base. And it's such a sad thing. (I don't want to have to find another game to destress, but that's what's probably going to happen.) There are people who primarily stick around for hide and seek, dominion, ARAM. Your game designers seem to be interested in innovation of gameplay; a lot of that stuff happens when people explore and try out new things and playstyles because of game modes like Dominion. Hide and Seek.

We were actually hoping for an update, not an Axing. At least do not axe it. We DO NOT CARE if it is not "up to par". It's up to par enough for our standards if you will simply NOT RETIRE IT.

This is not cost-effective at all. Retiring an entire game mode for one measly little classic update?! Game modes is what give a video game like this variety and keep people interested. When first starting I would have dropped this game if it weren't for Dominion. And a lot of people won't get into it or stay here because there is no variety, it is the same dull mode and that is that.

Please do not retire Dominion.

Out of curiosity, how did you play Dominion? Because "low stress" and "less involved" aren't phrases I typically see associated with Dominion's quick-paced and high-tension gameplay.
