Can we have an option to stack RoA early like we can with Archangel?

Most of the time with mages, if you want to build item 3027 , you have to do it as soon as possible since it only begins to "stack" when you have the full item. This is very limiting on a lot of mages since its stats and utility could be very usefull for a lot of them, but they can't afford to build it early enough when compaired to some other "necessary" items that their kit needs more. However, with item 3003 , you can just build item 3070 and then you can upgrade whenever you feel to, there's no immediate drawback to priotise other items over fully built Archangel.

So, I feel like we should have the option to add a new item to RoA's build path that could start stacking and share its stacks with the completed item, while having some kind of limit, like having a limit of 5 maximum stacks before upgrading. This way, a lot of mages could have more item building paterns while not necessarily becoming straight out op.

If you could stack it with a component, it would either need to take longer to stack or get some other nerf. Otherwise literally every AP champ will build it because it gives amazing stats for its price when completed.

What does it matter at this Point? Mage's Mana Regen is so broken rn. Sona has so much mana Regen that she can spam her Heals, no Mage will ever run out of Mana ever again cause of the insane broken patch. You know its broken when you regain Mana faster then you can spend on lv 5.

Hell no. I honestly feel the item is overtuned. If it stacks like that, it's gonna have to be a worst overall item.

Wouldn't every mage just build Tear+ Catalyst then?

The thing with the RoA build path is that, yeah Catalyst doesn't give that much offensive power, but it generally just makes it harder to kill you instead.

it'd be fun to have abyssal recipe changed and then have catalyst automatically transform into roa but after 15 minutes, would allow so much more item flexibility and would give mages a helping hand

If the item takes too long to stack to be viable, I prefer buffing the reward of the stacks over accelerating them, to further amplify its theme of a mid-late game item. Increasing the pace of RoA will only make it similar to the other items, and it would always compete in stats with them.

The stacking Part of RoA should be on a tank item not a mage item.
