Literally the first game back after a 6 month break. Its the same god damn shit. Top lane is literally the only lane that matters. Being able to 1v2 just because is broken as fuck. Fix the god damn game. You watch a stream its the same shit.

As of now, the top lane hasn't been a dominant part of the meta. Also, I took a look at this game you are referring to. One one side, Jax is a champion who needs to scale in order to split push. On the other hand, Illaoi needs to abuse the enemy laner, as she won't be able to do anything for the rest of the game if she doesn't. She doesn't have an engage and therefore requires champions to jump unto her. Every ability in her kit is really telegraphed, so she should never really do any big surprise. The gank you should have done would be to just show up top, make her stand back from the minion wave and grant your laner a freeze. Never forget that different champions have different strengths and win conditions.

Yet, nowadays, you are more likely to be autifilled toplane, than supp, I wonder why. Probably ppl can't handle the power of that lane.

people dont want tanks, mages, ranged, junglers, supports on top lane so riot select few chosen ones and mostly indirectly buff them so they mow down everything mentioned before and viola you have current state of toplane aka QQ meta slave fiesta. You look at pick list for top and every single champ is lane bully and also with kit that alows them pop you very easily moment they touch you.
