how do you beat udyr in the jungle

Play champions that can kite him in fights and kite back. For example janna, lulu, sivir, etc. If you're talking about early game just don't fight him in the jungle he'll win most 1v1 skirmishes unless you're someone like lee sin.

If he's trying to fight you 1v1 in your jungle, buy a Skirmisher's Sabre. If you have it and he doesn't, then you can kill him 1v1 even with a much worse duellist.

In jg, Udyr is the only champ I use XD One of the easiest ways to beat him imo is to bait him somewhere. There is ONE issue, however, and that is if he changes to his "Bear" stance. If he catches you, you're dead. If he doesn't, you made it harder for him and he can't escape. Unless you're fed, NEVER duel him, and instead, wait for backup

Use skarner . just like udyr only better

He is kinda tough to deal with, since he has no ulti and essentially has his full power at level 4. But that is also a disadvantage. Also, he is stronger than he should be right now because cinderhulk is a little too powerful an item.

That being said, some junglers can duel him; I've had success with Vi and Shyvana, and I can't imagine that Lee would do badly. I could probably come up with others that would do well, but in all honesty it might be easier to pick a team comp that deals with with Udyr easily. He is extremely vulnerable to kiting; champions like Zyra that can stop him in his tracks severely limit the impact he can have in the later portion of the game.

Any champion that's good at one vs one like jax tryndamere jungle can beat him. Even nasus jungle, then theres rammus,Lee who worst case scenario can run away. High sustain champions too like warwick atrox can do well. Most udyr have to invest a lot into movement speed to not get kited which can make them weak in 1v1 if you choose to all in them. Pay attention to his items if you think your more powerful. On Jan you need lvl 6 though.
