Turret FB doesn't stop pro games from snowballing and makes normal game snowballing even worse.

In pro play having a 1000 lead gold in 10 minutes (easily attained by 1 kill -> 1 turret + waves) is already a 70% win rate for the team that has the lead.

Adding turret FB doesn't change any of the incentives for getting that first turret; lane swaps are already risky due to this.

In regular play it's made the snowballing way worse than it used to be.

It might make it snowball harder, but it also allows for a chance to shorten a lead and to force an objective.

The same thing can happen when a team gets multiple fire dragons; it simply allows for the team to snowball harder, but Riot did that to put more focus on the objective.

I don't know what pro scene your talking about. But the NA/EU LCS promotion tournament was still on 6.15.

We won't actually see it's effects until this week, in the playoffs. (To say otherwise is being presumptuous)

My understanding wasn't that the first turret kill bonus gold was to stem snowballing, but rather intended as a deterrent for lane swaps in general. I agree that it has increased the potential for a game to snowball, but I've also seen it personally used to counter a kill lead.
