Suggestion: Would it be better overall to have every champion movement speed increased by 5?

Just to speed up the early game where every champion walks soo slowly. Kog maw, Nautilus, Anivia and various other champion.

  • Champion that can't dodge skillshots because of their natural movement speed should be able to now. If you think about it. a kogmaw movement speed early is 330, dodging skillshot is almost impossible, but if kog is able to sidestep a blitz Q or morgana Q and any other projectile with ease, this game would be more skill based. Another that movement speed could fix is clunky hitbox such as Leblanc E. Lets say if Leblanc E a champion but it completely missed it, thats because that champion is slighty faster and the chain would not hit that champion. Right now it seems immobile mage such as Lux, Morgana, Zyra and many other CC burst champion dominates the mid lane. But what if everysingle champion could be able to dodge their skillshot by simply sidestepping. Instead of getting hit by their skillshot because your champion was too slow and is immobile.
  • Buffing projectile has been a thing recently, which hurts champion with low movement speed.

I my opinion, yes and no. I would say yes to everyone but Nautilus, only because he has a reason to be extremely slow. How would you feel having to face a titan that can easily move around and block every skill shot? He's huge, and has a strong shield.

But you move 5 movement speed faster!

And how would that help? Your skill shot speed isn't based off your movement speed. Again, I would prefer it for everyone but Nautilus

Please don't make unnecessary comment. 1st of all I'm not stupid. You play kog maw and you are chased by Nautilus, both of you have 5 movement speed higher. Nautilus throws his Q, a reminder that NO skillshot don't scale off MOVEMENT SPEED, Kog maw is able to sidestep Nautilus Q while running because he has 5 more movement speed. If he didn't he would have been caught.

Woah sweetie, I never intended to start an argument. I understand the whole concept you are projecting, however that is irrelevant to my problem if this took place. I don't know if I failed to mention it clearly or not, if so, I apologize. I was talking about Nautilus in general, not his skill shots. He would be able to body block more easily. That's all I wanted to bring up.

probably best to leave everything where it is. with the 3rd drag it helps slow champs a lot.

Morgana and Blitz aren't really issues. Skill comes in rotating around minions to avoid the potential to eat a skillshot, as well as baiting them, which is relatively easy to do against the vast majority of players.

I had a game I played Vlad vs Xer, who's normally pretty abusive, even if you play it well, and I focused on baiting the direction of his Q every time he went to use it, and only got hit by ~1 in every 6 or 7, rather than every 2 or 3, which I could easily sustain through, even if his W was consistent damage to me.

The problem is mindset, most of the time, not the champion you're using or someone is using against you. Analyze their reactions to your movements and if you see a consistency, abuse them for it.

Why not make it so base MS for champions with 125 range is 345-355? Why not make it so base MS for champions with 175+ range is 335-340? Why not make is so base MS for champions with 475+ range is 325-335?

Sure if we increase projectile speed and delayed Spell speed by the same rate.

No. It's not.

Slow champions are slow for a reason
