Ahri's changes from the perspective of a crappy Ahri main...

Okay... I didn't really know what to think exactly.... first of all we had the damage amp returning. Okay.. let's disregard the fact that i really hate reverts they are so unexciting.

I think reverting it to her just having her damage amp is a bad idea. Why? Because Ahri was never meant to be a full on assassin. She was meant to have a unique semi mage/semi assassin playstyle. Watch her old champion spotlight, she didn't play like an assassin at all. She was never meant to be able to just kill ppl with e+q+w. She skirts around teamfights and delivers a decent amount of poke (smth that assassins could that not) while having the ability to go in and assassinate a target who was low enough (smth that mages could not do). She was neither the best at both but she was a good safe pick.

The reason they shoe horned her into being another assassin was because of DFG which caused to her to do single target burst dmg that she was NOT meant to be doing. And now, with the damage amp people will likely get gunblade on her and she'll turn into leblanc 2.0 with better waveclear and teamfight potential. Is that really healthy? For her to start competing with leblanc and fizz on who's the better ap assassin?

I like the second version WAY MORE. It stays true to her original playstyle so much more. The problem is that it seems like they are doing it in a way that is a bit uninteractive. Ahri being able to just dash away 5 times seems way too much. I suggest giving her extra charges for hitting enemies with spirit rush instead. So that it can be a more chase/damage oriented ability rather than just an instant gauranteed escape.

And neither versions fix the fact that foxfire is just "press w for free damage" without even aiming it at all. That's my take on it.
