"Equalize the teams" Vote?

I was just watching a Taliyah gameplay on the PBE and I saw a vote prompt come up asking if the team would like to "Equalize the teams".

Does anyone know what this means?

It's a testing feature that allows them to equalize gold values for both teams if it's becoming too much of a stomp.

The purpose of it is just so they can more easily test how champs feel in fights when the game is even, only for testing environments.

It gives the opposing team extra gold, and I also think it levels them up. It's for the purpose of essentially making each team 'equal'.

So it is not something that will go live, just for PBE testing?
