We need Voice Chat ASAP.

Remember in season 6, when we could play ranked with a party of 5, but riot created flex Because premades had an obvious communication advantage? Imo this was a horrible idea. Instead of aiming to improve communication within teams, their solution was to make miscommunication inevitable by restricting large parties.

We need Voice chat in this game. People are so afraid of this idea because of our "toxic community", but the truth is, it won't be as bad as it seems. People won't be as toxic on voice chat as they are in text chat. Pings are great, but not everyone listens to them if we're being honest, and that's not something we can control.

Riot should be aiming to give us the best communication methods possible, especially in solo/duo. itll bring some problems, but nothing can't be solved with a mute and report button.

Outside of the fact that Dynamic Queue had soooo many more problems than just "premades had better communication" (I'll be honest, it makes me sad that people have already forgotten how terrible DQ was), let's tackle some other things about this post:

not really true, they made a ranked queue specifically for premades as regular Ranked is for individual skill rankings. That's why...uh...you have your very own premade ranked for literally just that. For large parties

it's already been stated that Riot wants to implement it, but it has to be in the right way which is why they have been slow about this topic. Voice Chat is something that will hurt the company severely if implemented wrong, so they are rightfully cautious about rushing into it

voice chat doesn't magically change your ability to control others. People will still ignore you, regardless if you say "yi is in that bush" or spam ping it multiple times, people will still face-check that bush

I do agree that VoiceChat should be implemented, it's just very important people actually know what situation Riot is in and why it's not something they can just slap onto the game and call good. There are serious risks and reasons for the way things are at this moment from pings to what types of queues and ranked systems we have.

Pings cover most of what we need to communicate. Voice chat introduces a whole new dimension of distractions.

Riot understands that the definitions of communication vary wildly based on how many people are in your party vs how many pugs are or aren't putting up with that party being a thing.

League does not have a logical community or we would not need responses to behavior like inting.
