They might as well make it a Melee only item because it's actually useless on Ranged champions. Only the stats of the item are somewhat considerable, as for the Passive it's just pointless (33% effective heal of flat 80 at max level), without massive amounts of AS the healing won't be noticeable.

Any ranged champion who is below half hp is almost always assured to be killed easily so the Healing that this item offers is essentially in the end not worth investing an inventory slot into.

###I'm not even sure that the "Bruisers" (that were the target of this item apparently, based on patch notes) will even find any use of this item. It's literally just a direct buff to Master Yi, Jax.

Another underrated item gone...

Well, .. I believe that is, in part, their goal.

Close-range ranged champions could still make decent use of this though.

Urgot comes to my mind as probably the best example.

Graves and Rakan are probably the next two I might place into that category, but neither of which typically prioritize attack speed.

Yeah without any massive amount of AS this item is not worth it. I'm curious to see how this item interacts with Urgot's W.

Idk what riot was thinking it was used for ranged champions as a mr item but now they want it for bruisers that's just dumb and its only good on like two of them.

Also kog just gets fucked since he made great use out of the old one and makes 0 use out of the new and he is basically forced to build it.

I dont know why they made the healing only below 50% hp.

That actually killed the item, now its actually just almost completely worse than the old wits on most champs that used it.

It annoys me because if I play someone like Varus for instance, and I want to build On-Hit items. Now my only choices are...

I can't even add something like Wit's End next to them when facing a lot of AP Champs.

God can they just do a massive On-Hit item rework...

There's only one marksman I think would consider this: Kog'Maw.

and even then, there are probably much better items for it...he'd probably still prefer Nashor's to Wit's End at this point, especially if he's building hybrid or AP instead of straight AD/AS

i believe its meant to be a change for hyper carries, hence the AS enhancement and the late game on hit buff.

i think there are some bruisers/tanks that could make use of this item, udyr come's to mind, maybe shyvanna? probably mundo in particulair what with his E auto attack reset and passive bonus MR aswel as bonus AD so that the AS is worth something? darius too more easily stack your passive? maybe Diana?
