Why is Rek'sai considered bad????

I've played her some and love her early game clearing and awesome ganking potential, her teamfights aren't great and she falls off late game but this was the case before she got nerfed. I also enjoy starting warrior and building a bruiser build on her rather than just pure tank, people underestimate her early game damage I don't understand why everyone claims she's bad.

Because she's the balance team's punching bag just like Sona

That's the thing even with all her nerfs I still don't think she's bad.

I get my Sona some AP and if the enemy Supp is not Thresh, Braum or Nautilus, they can AFK from the start because it won't make much difference. The "poke" is 40% of their HP every 10 seconds.

And Rek'Sai seems quite fine to me. For her mobility she's not a snoballing monster anymore, but afaik she's still a potent duelist and a strong pick at every stage of the game. But I don't play her so I could be wrong.

You just listed 3 VERY popular supports. And don't forget that she goes oom very quickly so you can't poke forever.

Rek is only a potent duelist early on, and even that's arguable. Despite being designed originally as a counterjunger (although I despise counterjg because its a toxic strategy by nature) at this point she cannot 1v1 most fighters mid game because her damage falls off horribly regardless of what she builds (gutted ratios) and has no defensive scalings. And she is definitely not a strong pick late game. Her late game is horrendous because her damage AND utility falls off like a rock. Her ult is pretty useless once the game requires 5v5 team fights and her knockup (which also got nerfed) is mediocre seeing as it is her only CC, and her initiation is so slow that she rarely gets a good one without using flash. She was never meant to be a tank but she is forced to build full tank if she wants to do anything late game, and she is not a good tank by any means. Its like tank Darius, yes you're beefy but you have zero tank scalings and weakshit initiation so late game you do nothing.

You should play Rek and see how games go if you don't get your team snowballed to hell.

The monster has no claws anymore =(.

I see, so the problem is her low scalings? Maybe Riot should focus on either split RekSai with strong mobility and damage, or teamfight RekSai with better CC, AoEs and tank stats, cause trying to do both seems like it's destroying her.

Imo she should be a bit beefy, mobile and do good damage, but she should act more like a predator and less like a wrecking ball. Because in her glory days, the "stay underground and stalk the prey" style was non-existent compared to the "LOL ULT, FREE TELEPORT TO BOTTOM, DIVE THE TURRET, GET A DOUBLE KILL, GET OUT LOLOLOL"

Don't let the braindead posters of G&B delude you She is still a very solid pick that fits almost any comp

There is a very good reason this champion maintains a 15%+ pickrate in Master+ http://www.lolking.net/champions/reksai&region=all&map=sr&queue=1x1&league=challenger#statistics

Just what I was going to say she still gets picked in higher elo a decent amount.

I could say the same for Corki, solid pick in very high elo/LCS because people there know how to abuse his massive midgame and close out the match very quickly.

Underwhelming for the rest of us because we generally suck at closing out games and he falls off late game where ADC's traditionally take over. Similar situation with Reksai.

There are also champs like Nasus, Master Yi, Katarina etc. that stomp games in low elo but are liabilities in high elo because the entire enemy team will abuse their nonexistant early game (knowing how to do this is half the reason those players got to Master in the first place so you can bet they will punish your pick).

Some say that because Rek was once OP, and thus Riot starting hitting her with the nerf bat. 'Problem was that nobody really told them when to stop hitting her.

Anyone who says she's bad is pretty much clueless. She is a great jungler.

Rek'sai is still a god tier jungler.

Rek is Lee Sin v2, but is even better.
