I'm thinking about maining one of those champions for top lane. I like both's kits and concepts, I play decently well with both, however I can't decide between them.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo4 voteswukong as more versatility as a champ. olaf is either an all or nothing champ. a feed olaf can carry a game on his own but a behind olaf is more of a liability. wukong has more mobility , he has a stealth dash * his decoy* he had a hard cc, hard engage. worst case if you dont get top you can jungle with wukong and it is decently strong. you could wukong middle depending on match up/team comp and if worst comes to worst a wukong supports with an aoe knock up for fights is always usefull tank monkey that funky monkey

Wukong is definitely better than olaf if you want to climb specially in low elo. His ult can be literally gamechanging. Also , olaf lacks gapclosers so you will have hard time chasing down people.

is always useful whether he is behind or ahead because of his kit, but he is more dependent on teammates responding for his ult and being cooperative.
can largely act independently from teammates, but if he falls behind he is useless.
Whenever I suggest climbing champions I usually don't want them to be team-oriented, because if your team is bad (which it will be in low Elo) then team weakness becomes YOUR weakness.
When you get to gold team-oriented champions are fantastic, because players know when to respond to your actions. But in Bronze and low Silver the quality of your teammates is a crap shoot.

I'm in Bronze because of my previous seasons, I sucked a lot in the last ones and in this season's promos I was drunk (not saying I should be a Diamond, but probably somewhere along the lines of high silver, maybe low gold).

jinxedchef1 votesAt some point you are going to lose lane, it just happens. If you full behind as Olaf it is much harder to be useful. But Wukong still is useful, if just because of his ult.

Wukong is much better to climb in solo queue. Wukong is is more versatile, is better when not ahead, has a more diverse build path, and more importantly has a super high damage ult that's also a five man knockup if you use it right. A snowballing Olaf can carry a game, but if you don't get ahead he will feel fairly useless. Same if he gets counter-picked. Wukong can play safe and destroy team fights past laning phase if he plays safe.
GULAG 4 U1 votesWukong is a better champion, but olaf can really be annoying shit with his ult that prevents him from getting cc'd so he can just lifesteal his way thru fights. I'd say go with the one you prefer.
