"we removed dfg because it gave bursty people more burst"

im not saying its overpowered im just wondering where the logic is

DFG had a lot more damage potential. Luden's does add burst, but it doesn't scale with a "bursty champion" any more than it does with one who isn't "bursty"
DFG's active: Deals 15% of target champion's maximum health in magic damage and applies the debuff, Doom. Doom amplifies all magic damage that champion takes by 20% for 4 seconds. 90 second cooldown (750 range). Strategy: Activate item and select who you want dead, 15% of their health is instantly gone (before MR), ALL of the spells that you AND your allies over the next 4 seconds deal 120% damage (before MR). ... Oh yeah, and you get 10% CDR so you have more spells more often. SO OP!!!
Luden's Echo:Unique: Gains charges upon moving or casting. At 100 charges, the next instance of ability damage you deal will expend all charges to deal 100 (+ 15% AP) bonus magic damage to the first enemy hit and summon up to 3 lesser bolts that target nearby enemies, prioritizing enemies damaged by the ability and champions over minions. Strategy: Mostly benefits high mobility (increases mobility) or champions who already have low cooldowns, 100 + 15% AP isn't really that much damage. Hell, even if you have 1000 AP, that's only 250 damage, to up to a maximum of 4 targets. Less damage, more targets, more often.
