Akali's W is the new Illaoi
"Akali W no counters"
LITERALLY WALK AWAY FROM IT.
Hell, it's even worse because, in Illaoi's case, fighting back is way harder to do with her huge damage and life steal. For Akali, you can just throw skill shots on her if she's being revealed or if you know where she generally is inside the cloud. Also, her W isn't even her main enabling tool. Her E is, but because of its effect, people look at the W more...for some odd reason.
Akali's a high skill cap champion that falls off as hard as hard or close to as hard as Pantheon does. She has high target access, but lower burst than many assassins. Her shroud helps her stay safe doing this, but she's revealed while fighting and can't be saved from targeted moves that already lock onto her or skill shots that happen to land on her. Idk where the griping comes from.
