We don't fix Riven and friends without doing something about Conqueror

Idc how many people try to brush it under the rug. Conqueror is the reason we have basically no tanks that can thrive in top lane except for Sion.

Well they nerfed Conqueror and she's probably still just as popular if not more. The problem isn't just this particular rune or this particular item, although those need to be looked at too, but something more fundamental.

Yeah... they already nerfed all the top lane picks. Now Riven gets nerfed and guess what happens? Back to adcs being the best at everything again. Sigh. Hope they just start nerfing everything. After Riven, Renekton rises to the top of the ladder. Calling it.

Marksmen "being the best at everything" has nothing to do with Riven's 55% Diamond win rate being nerfed. It has everything to do with halfway unwinding all the changes that were made 9 months ago to finally knock marksmen off of top spot.

No one cares about nerfing Conqueror's AD. We care that it provides lane sustain, resistance ignore, AND damage indefinitely throughout a fight so fighters can just rip through any top lane tank.

It isn't JUST Riven, although she needs a nerf, anyway. The rune is damn near impossible to fight through for a tank.
