I am a solo queue player.

I keep winning promos to Bronze II, and getting knocked back down to Bronze IV through losing against the same matchups, over and over and I don't know what to do to rise above it. I might be getting counterpicked, but aren't you supposed to stick with your main to climb?

I main Caitlyn, and I keep losing against Miss Fortune + Nautilus or Jhin+Zilean. I just keep seeing this matchup like it's become a popular duo trend and I always lose these lanes. I've tried playing aggressively, tried playing passive, reactive, proactive, and I'm doing something that I can't pinpoint to rise above the challenges during the lane phase.

Part of it is that my supports have just been doing outrageous things lately. Alistar goes AP as support, doesn't buy Sighstone, and the fact that he didn't tank prevents him from being a good frontliner. Like I have nobody to hide behind on my team even though I do stay on the back line. What's worse is he doesn't know how to do the combo, so all his burst isn't well-timed. When Zed can prey on your Alistar, you're screwed.

One other game, I had a Soraka that helped me freakin BREEZE through the lane phase. Then she decides to split push bot while mid gets completely wrecked 4v5 by the tank meta, an extremely bad Garen against an extremely good Darius.

This might have just been a string of bad games, but the same crap keeps happening. Please don't just say "Git gud" or like "Noob is salty over being a noob." I'm not a new player, just this is the first season I've become serious about climbing.

Keep grinding man. Only way to control your climb is to always look at what you do and how you can improve. If you're meant to get out of bronze you will, and eventually you will if you take ownership over your game. Bot is def hard because of the necessity to work as a pair but you gotta feed off of your partner during the laning phase. After that, you have to do everything in your power to see the game through. If you notice your team is shit, just position correctly and pray that you can carry them through.
