Burning questions

In no particular order, mostly because I'm having a hard time digging this stuff up:

  • Is there any point to reporting someone for leaving the game when LeaverBuster exists? (In other words, is it another bitbucket reporting option like "low skill" used to be?)

  • Jungling used to be about cycling between the neutral camps, occasionally dipping out into the lane for free cs and ganks, and so forth. Now with the smite bonuses gone, and the camp spawn times cranked way up, what's the tl;dr for how2jungle? I know my S6 tactics get me killed nowadays, since you don't get health ups off smite anymore.

  • Is Sona practically useless nowadays? Who's the healer to beat?

  • What ever happened with that whole enforced meta case? (The guy who got summoner 11ed for troll picks, because the team got upset, even though they worked, even though he told them what he was doing)

  • You're in low elo, in bot lane against a ranged champion and their support, while you have a melee champion and your support. Obviously, they're going to out-CS you because they can poke from afar, and you can't. You run in to last hit, and you get poked. How does one handle this matchup? (Remember, low elo, so a teammate switching with you may not be a realistic option - wondering what I should do.)

  • Does Yasuo still feel ridiculously OP to anyone else? I _love _ the fact that Yasuo's cheap W can block an expensive R.

  • When and why did ping times get removed from the loading screen? Knowing that someone was going to be behind enough that you had to give them extra room to make quick plays was useful info.

  • Is there ever going to be a time when the game can be considered balanced, where every champion is viable and the rules stop changing week by week, leaving people to work on their skill and not on the rule changes?

Sona is far from useless.

Sona is far from useless.

However, if you're talking about healing, Raka is the healer to beat. Sona provides good buffs and excellent poke in low elo.

Every smite heals you now I think.

Riot said officially, they will not ban. They will lock your account, then you contact them and prove you are trying to win. They will give you advice on communication.

I have heard of bot-kill lanes. And I have seen them work. But I don't know the theory behind them.

You may as well report people for AFKing. Odds are the system picked it up, but if they ragequit, something the system can't tell, its best to report it.

Jungling is pretty much the same. Instead of buffs from jungle camps you get health. Smite always gives you health now, when you smite a camp.

Sona's not useless, but the best healer is Raka. However, Sona's better for making plays than Raka.

Riot made a statement about it a way back. Basically, you don't get banned, but your account gets locked, and you have to contact Riot. IMO, the ban on the Smite-Support Nunu player was justified, due to his rigid behavior in playing what he wanted, but that's just my opinion.

Be patient, get your jungler to gank, or force an all in. If you're looking for a guide to how to melee ADC, talk to Dr Sona x Rubrick.

No, Yasuo's not really OP. He's easy enough to deal with, you just have to know how to go against him, and keep his CD's in mind.

Ping times were removed years ago. In game, you can ping your ping, (press G then click your ping in the upper left-hand corner). As for why, I believe Riot said they lead to unnecessary harassment.

Balance is impossible. League, as a game, is in a constant state of change. The game is always changing and evolving, and that's part of what makes it fun to play. All champs are currently viable. The only time patch rate may decrease, is if League makes another game, or has to downsize. Maybe.
