It's been this long, and Ranked is still FLAWED

We don't choose who we are matched up with at all. 0 choice (except for teams and Duos). Yet we are penalized if some random person who we don't even know quits or ends up being toxic? How is that fair? We can't control random peoples' actions and emotions, but we are penalized as if we can. I can't tell you how many games I've been in where at least one person, DCs, AFK, Int Feeds because they're toxic, or just trolls the team in a way that negatively impacts the team and puts them on tilt, which often leads to a loss. I doubt this is much of a problem in higher Elos, but in Bronze it is very much prevalent.

There's an easy solution that I really can't understand why isn't in place already. Say two teams load into the Rift and one instantly goes AFK, or even 25 minutes in DCs. The game is now a 4v5, but is still treated and scored as a fair match, because after the 4 man team loses, they lose the same amount of LP they would as a 5 man team. How does this make sense? I think that since that one guy DCs, the loss of LP for the losing team (only if its the team with the DC) should be lowered or negated. For Int Feeding, it should take 3-4 reports and a revision, and if the person who is reported is guilty, LP should be refunded to the losers (again, only the team that had the Int Feeder). The amount of LP is debatable, but I really think loss of LP should be lower on a team that suffered a DC, AFK, or troll.

tl;dr AFKs, DCs, and trolls are the cancer of lower elos and make it nearly impossible to advance. The system in place doesn't account for people like that and still penalizes the losers as if the whole team was there. The amount of LP lost should be lowered/negated if the losing team suffered from a DC, AFK, or troll.

Edit: I edited out the whole Bronze rant because I think it kinda turned people off to the idea..

So the toxic players are always on your team? I think not. Also, the faster you get out of Bronze means the faster you can climb into higher Elo as well. Of course, the best way to not be in Bronze is to not place there in the first place.

I prefer it to be negated, because why should I lose lp when I have a teammate that does this. I didn't chose them, the system did.

Bronze is easy tbh.
