Yeah I guess he can't do much else besides his revive, but the AoE stun which is easily ult worthy should be a little less reliable.
All he needs is some minions or monsters to throw 2 bombs on and then everything in the explosion radius is stunned instantly.
Make the double bomb + stun only apply on champions

- The Stun is easy to dodge unless your Super Super Close to him, and if he starts to walk up to you have a huge hint to walk away.
- On the minion thing, zilean would be Utter Trash if his only damaging spell couldn't be attatched to minions.
- Unless its an Ap zilean and your an adc with no mr, his damage isn't great, and hes mostly utility.
- Zilean Stun is definetly not reliable, unless you q-w-q before someone notices and your standing still, its kinda hard to stun people.
- If you land one bomb, someone isn't gonna stand still and let you stun them.
But it's so... big... and thats a shit ton of zoning presence.
I'd like for it to not be nearly instant AoE stun tho :/ I'm fine with it attaching to minions, I'm not fine with it stunning me just because I'm within 900 units of a minion.
It's pretty damn great - 300 base damage + 90% AP
You don't need to Q+W+Q an enemy champion though, you just need to Q+W+Q a nearby minion. Minions can't dodge.
You don't need to land a bomb at all tho...

It is highly telegraphed, and if your facing him mid, you are probably playing a mage with range, and hopefully can cs away from the minion wave.
Hes played more mid than support, and while it is still viable to build ap as a support, He isn't pumping out damage like Zyra would, and he isn't Supporting like a janna would. He does decent damage while offering some utility.
But are you always going to be near minions? Are their minions in the jungle? And just throwing 2 bombs on top of each other on the floor wont explode them.
You need to land the bomb on 2 units to have them explode, wether that be an ally minion, an enemy minion, an enemy, an ally, or yourself(Speeding Zilean bomb op)

It's really not that telegraphed because of it's speed. Q+W+Q and you're stunned.

Simply not true, if you're melee and there's minion within 900 range of you, it's 100% reliable because he just needs to doublebomb that minion and it stuns you as well.

Handy Sandy 2 votesWhat I don't like about zilean is that he doesn't really need a lot of items to do a shit ton of damage. I had a 3/7 mid zilean in my game who had like 100 cs in 25 minutes while taking 80% of my hp with a doublebomb that's legit unnormal
