S7 Jungle Predictions

With the changes to all of the jungle monsters, I feel that AoE champions will be superior in clearing the wave. Most junglers have AoE in their kit but those that do not are going to have a much harder time especially when dealing the new raptors and Krugs. Champions that can do both AoE and solid single damage are bound to be the best junglers. The first that comes to my mind is Shyvana. She has always been the queen at clearing the jungle camps but with the new changes, she is still able to do a very solid performance. The changes to the jungle also slightly nerfs some champions in the early game because of the increased CD on Smite and the longer clear speeds that are required to finish all the camps. Shyvana can take advantage of this by simply stealing enemy jungle camps until she hits 6. Shyvana can't really gank really well before 6 but because her clear speeds are so dad gum fast, she can easily counter jungle and starve the enemy jungler. Plus with the tank meta slowly returning, she can see a come back in popularity. That is not to sya that current junglers besides Shyvana are heavily nerfed, it just means that Shyvana has an indirect buff.
