Stop blaming the jungler

As a mid laner, please stop the "better jg wins" bull shit.

I just started spamming Kayn jungle because I recently grew an interest in that champ. I used to jungle a couple seasons ago so I'm kind of re-learning the pathing and what not. With that said, I've noticed A LOT of laners DO NOT PAY ATTENTION to anything.

  • I've spam pinged them when a jungler is on their side or on the way to gank them. Do they back off? Hell no! Perfect time to engage and give up a kill or two.

  • Do they ward potential gank routes so they have vision? Hell no! Better to play with the excitement of not knowing who's where.

  • Do they help protect OUR jungle and punish anyone who tries to invade? Hell no! Gotta get those lane minions, then maybe show up to "help".

  • Do they help secure objectives (drg, baron, etc.) or at least threaten to defend them? Hell no! Gotta clear this upcoming wave, then maybe go check out what's happening.

  • Do they play safe and freeze the wave if they're being camped or losing? Hell no! Keep shoving, over and over!

I'm not prefect by any means. My jungling sucks balls (imo). But it's opened my eyes to how little laners pay attention to the whole map! It's their lane or nothing. There's maybe a few times the jungler could have made an impact and is at fault, but I noticed most of the time the laners are the ones making mistakes. Very simple ones too, but they're too tilted to correct them. As much as I have been enjoying playing Kayn, I can see why people don't like to jungle. Take responsibility for your own short comings as a laner! It's NOT always the junglers fault YOU lost!

So what about the laners that know what they are doing but their jungler is trash? I see this often. Where my jungler is afk farming not doing anything to help lanes or follow pings. Does not ward and does not go for objectives. Better Jungler wins.

Hahaha yeah, if i had a dollar for every midlaner who wants me to be in their lane 24/7 even when the lane state isnt great for a gank. But he can have the lane pushed and ill be fighting right next to him in the river vs the enemy jg, and he's busy missing skillshots on the enemy mid under turret rather than coming to help.

I still say blame the jungler, because better jungler DOES win. It's the only role that has any fuckin impact on the game lol. If your lanes are fed and they can 1v5 people, it's usually cuz the jungler got them that way. Better JG wins

Laners are tunnle visioned idiots, plain and simple. Supports are generally aware of the map though, so i atleast give them some credit.

after 10 years of laners being dependent on junglers, laners havent adapted yet to junglers being dependent on laners. So its awkward.

I second all those points.

Personally, a couple of years ago where I didn't play much jungle, I would be more than willing to flame my jungler if I lost lane. This past year though, I have been playing some jungle both on my main and smurf accounts, and I can see how it's rarely the jungler's fault. If the jungler is blatantly just trolling, sure, it's their fault. If the jungler doesn't get a leash by his top laner, who runs top and gets solo killed level 2, it's not the jungler to be blamed.

better jungler wins. somehow junglers suck even worse than ever this season despite the jungle being super playable. it's tiresome

Most players blame junglers just because they can't win 1v1 ... They always need help . 2v1 is their way to win . Junglers are not made to stay mid for example and fight 2v1 all the time... We have 3 lanes to help guys just relax and wait . Stop inting because jg doesn't gank ... He has to help others too . There are cases tho where jgs only farm and do nothing . Yes blame them xD but stop blaming someone who's trying to help weak lanes. I am a main jungler and i almost never blame other junglers since i know how it feels trying to control 3 lanes at a time and even theirselves... But some of them are just ... kill yourself buddy .

the problem with jg is that a good one wins games and a bad one is wasted space. even going neutral in the jg you are doing nothing except making it 4v5. being a eve main i constant gank lanes starting at level 3 because i know if i do nothing for 6 levels either my team gets shat on or enemy jg has free reign to do what he wants. jg is prob the most important lane in the game followed by bot lane.

doesnt matter if laners cant 1v1 because they suck, its YOUR JOB to equalize someone who is dog shit at the lane.
