Zed has been the most overpowered champ for a year.
Do these circlejerkers even listen to themselves?
Zed was a trash pick back when Exhaust and Heal were overpowered, he rarely saw any competitive play early on even from Zed gods like Dade and Faker. I mean you saw xPeke pick up First Blood and still get absolutely dumpstered by Froggen when he played the Zed vs. Ziggs matchup. He wasn't even that strong at Worlds, it's only the mana regeneration nerfs which have turned him into a strong pick.
Even then some mages do absolutely fine against him.
come to mind (pre-buff Ahri could arguably duel Zed better then current Ahri because she could turn the tables with her 20% damage amp)
is also nifty if you're terrified of his burst. It can also be used offensively or on other targets,
is not always the best option.
Also I don't get why some people pick their mains
into Zed and expect to stomp the lane then cry "Champ OP" when they get killed. If you counterpick yourself and lose the lane it's really not the champ but you paying zero respect to your opponent. If they counterpick you then yeah it's a lane you were always going to struggle with irregardless of the champion.
tl;dr Zed has been hit slightly, he's still a very strong pick but this QQ on the forums is more people refusing to adapt rather then the champion being blatantly overpowered. Also remember if Zed is on your team you have a 53% chance of losing the game :^)

Nerfed to oblivion, never too see the light of day, even though she was zeds hardest counter.
Nerfed pretty badly, no longer can really counter zed actually since he has such low anti harass shields
and
All have tweaks that need to come through. malz shouldn't have to spend tons of mana just to farm, Lux shouldnt to poke, and Galio just uses his entire manapool in 3 Q's. Ori is probably pretty close to good, but she still has higher costs than someone like
or
still an apprentice ...
