Udyr is a stupid, brainless champ that needs a rework

see title, out of all the mindless button mashing trash in this game I think Udyr takes the cake. Let's review!

  • unBEARable early game with zero counterplay, if he shows up in your jungle your only option is to run (unless you are playing warwick, which as far as I can tell is the only reliable jungler than can fight off an Udyr invade). Seriously, what is the counterplay? bear stance stun + tiger procs rip through everyone in an instant, even saucy brawlers like lee have to avoid getting close to this hairy fuck cause he shreds everyone so fast. god forbid you are playing against a psycho who has a point in phoenix early, pushing his 1v1 damage to reality-shattering levels after that first back
  • nonexistent end game, just a crappy stun spammer button mashing asshole that still does a fuckload of damage 1v1 but at least you can nuke him in team fights. goes 10-0 in like 12 minutes and ends up 11-300 because this champ is literally fucking useless once everyone catches up to his bullshit early game. Let me just dive into the fight with a my single target 1 second stun and tiny AOE, yeehaw ride and die
  • gameplay is literally just mashing buttons, I cannot think of a champ that is less interactive than Udyr, he is basically sona in the jungle but at least she has a skillshot. playing Udyr is just banging on the keyboard until your target melts. that we have a champ in 2019 that consists of 4 active abilities without even a point and click spell is honestly ridiculous.
  • to that end, Udyr is almost as awful to play as he is to play against. this champ requires less thought to play than trump puts into his tweets, dominates fucking everything for a hot minute and then might as well DC for the back half of the game.
  • I fucking hate Udyr and I hope he gets picked up by animal control and sent to one of those PETA kill shelters

the worst part is that Udyr is a thematically cool champ and if Riot turned him into a proper polymorph type champ with transforming visuals and actual gameplay he would be dope as hell, but right now this hairy fucker is in a terrible place. thank you for coming to my ted talk

Seriously, what is the counterplay?

If he is a "brainless champ" the gameplay of which is "literally just smashing buttons" then you shouldn't have problem playing as him and carry the game. Who knows, you might be even grateful to the champ.

I don't know about a rework, but he definitely needs a animation update because holy sht his walking/running animation is the most triggering thing in the game

To be fair, Udyr is excellent in 1v1s and 1v2s but terrible in 1v3, 1v4 and 1v5s because all his damage are single target focused and has no aoe.

He is too much of a stat check Champ. ALL stat check champs need reworked so they are not stat checks.

Its stupid that there is ZERo out play with him. It is ether he kills you or he runs away and without 2+ stuns you cant catch him.
