[Poll] Fairest Champion in the game

Toastersaot··3 votes·1,193 views

I just want to have a poll of who people think the fairest champion is in the game gameplay wise.

For me it's Jhin, because he's skill shot reliant, while still dealing good damage with autos, but is immobile. He has good CC for an ADC, and I have never felt like there was nothing I couldn't have done against him. I could have jukes better to dodge his W and Ult. I could have jumped on him right after the fourth shot, so that he had no damage besides abilities, which are rather ineffective at close range.

Please post replies below, thanks!

I would say velkoz, but riot really fucked him up with midyear mage update

Linna Excel2 votes

Yeah, before his rework velkoz didn't need anything in the way of buffs or nerfs. I think that his rework was the first thing riot directly did to him since his release. The fact riot touched a champ who wasn't broken was a facepalm of a decision.

they gave him 1 minor buff on the second part of his q where it splits.

Papa Slothy2 votes

erhm well, they made it so u need to land 3 abilities to have any true damage with your ult at all

warpenguin5551 votes

yeah fuck that

Papa Slothy1 votes

yea, it made him feel clunky so they basically undid the rework

As an Ahri main, I would say Ahri because she isn't a "counter" to anyone but also n one "counters" her. When in lane with or against her, it is pretty much a skill match up. Also there is no such thing as a "fairest" or most balanced champion.

Its really hard to argue with this topic because what I said right there can be said about a lot of other champions.

Yasuo and Malzahar completely dumpster Ahri, and I've been on the receiving end of both

I was going to say something about malzahar being 1 of the only champs that I think is much harder to lane against than other champs but its mostly how you play in the lane. If you try to fight malz straight up then obviously malz will win that. Malz will most likely win the laning phase so all you can do is just poke him down and wait for a gank or just do a farm lane. Once team fights start and hes not fed from you not trying to fight him you should be fine.

Yasuo is another skill match up. If the yasuo is really good then its a hard match up and hes hard to harass because of his w and passive. But once again, farm outplay him if you can.

Yasuo outscales Ahri easily. You have to win lane against him, meaning he has to be worse than you because equal skill Yas should win or get your jungler to camp him.

She's screwed over by swain too. Can't do much against cho. You'll hate it if the other guy picks J4 or wukong because she's got issues against bruisers who can all in her... your only grace is no one thinks to pick J4 or Wukong against her. Annie will make you hate little kids because even if you win lane, she can still be very relevant in a team fight.

Wukong? Maybe.

A good Ahri should dumpster J4 though.

Part of it is not knowing the match-ups for most Ahri players. It's rare these days to see them out of their usual lanes. There's also the chance you were expecting to see one of the other team's members mid and got the wrong runes/starting items.

To be honest, the last time I played the J4 matchup was before J4's last big nerf so it's been awhile so I could be remembering stuff that's out of date.

Still, I remember that his E-Q-AA combos can hurt a ton when he finally hits one and you have the problem where you have to use hold on to your flash and ult for defensive uses after he hits 6. His level 6 combo of ult-e-q is going to be 460 plus good bonus AD scaling, then add in his passive, AAs, and probably ignite. Don't forget TLD either. Ahri's only got 830 base health at level 6 so his base damages on those 3 skills are chunking close to half your health to start with.

Seeker's would reduce J4's damage a ton, because his passive is %physical damage. Common Ahri rune page runs HP scaling yellows. Mastery page shouldn't change unless the player was really spooked by one of their picks and wanted a Cunning/Resolve page. J4 has to build damage because he's got bonus AD ratios, not total, meaning he'll be pretty squish without an early Hexdrinker. And he can't make Ahri fight with Ult when she has ult. I just can't really see J4 winning a fight post 6 if she has ult up. Souce: Ahri OTP who is trying to learn J4 for when he gets top.

Wukong is only an issue because of his EQW combo where his clone can potentially block Ahri's retaliation on top of a hard to react to CC on his ult that can get her stunlocked for a gank.

Warwick He's strong in 1v1s, but his teamfight potential is pretty weak. He has a serious lack of mobility, and relies heavily on his built in sustain. He has obvious strengths and obvious weaknesses. Too bad he's only a jungler or there would be more to talk about.

Almost all the champions in this game are fair. If we use your definition, it's whichever has the most skillshots/highest skillcurves. Most people complaining about "unfair" champions are wrong anyways.
