S6 is like an "URF-lite". So Much Free Damage.
I went a while without playing a normal game of LoL.
Come back, and it surprised me after so little time away, again, from LoL, the game has excessive amounts of free damage. I get Phreak has a great quote "Tons of Damage", but it has been going against Riot's "philosophy" to have you select a champ, not because of better stats, but for an actual reason other than stats... yet i feel like it is the opposite of that, with the exception of new champs that fit more niche things.
Ahri W, TLD proc'd and dmg dealt. Riven a fraction of an item, misses 2 Q's, fails stun, and chunks half your health. Yi just mash right click before you even get a an upgrade or item.
The last time i played a carry role and carry champ was a week or two before URF. But it still feels like im playing URF even in Normals XD.
Not salty at all. Just something funny i wanted to point out, something that people have pointed out several times, but this time by comparing it to URF.
Freaking hilarious. Thank God the damage creep isn't as bad as the first half of the year, but still pretty bad. I get the strategy to get us into the whole "make masteries feel impactful", "choose champ for x reason, not dmg", etc, but it is still so weird.
I miss long drawn out fights which felt more rewarding and more tactical where you can reposition. Now i get bored a bit faster since it isn't the same anymore, as my blow something up fix is sated instantly into the match.
