Make Morde Passive Reset When Hit by Hard CC?

It seems pretty clear, to me at least, that new Morde is pretty overbearing. Maybe he's not super busted but he feels like an uphill battle to play against almost all the time. But instead of another rant about all of Riot's terrible gameplay decisions and whatnot I just have a suggestion. Why not make Morde passive stop when he's hit by hard cc, kinda like Aurelion Sol passive? Its already terrible to be a melee champ and constantly have to fight Morde in a cloud of max health per second damage, but this gives that feeling a bit more counterplay. You go in for a trade, you both hit each other 3 times and as Morde passive starts you hit your cc, resetting his passive and forcing him to hit you 3 times again if he wants it back, giving you time to continue fighting or back off. This also doesn't just wreck the Morde, dodge the CC and then you get to wail on the enemy laner like normal. This way you also don't have to just nerf his passive damage into the ground or remove the movespeed from it, both of which would suck.

Aside from that idea I'd like to hear any thought you have about New Morde.

It feels like his ult should take up a huge part of his power budget but his basic kit and especially his passive are still decently fucking insane.

I think he just needs number tuning. Probably just remove the movement speed from his passive. He already builds Rylai's and has a pull. He doesn't need the movement speed as a Juggernaut. Making it so his passive resets when he's hit with hard CC just makes it so he has hard counters and then wrecks everyone else.

Sure let's make Renekton and Nasus's AoE ult DoT stop when hit by hard CC as well.

It's not like the damage and range is completely different from what Aurelion Sol has or anything.
