Theory on Shaco's Lore

Probably the worse possible time to write this with all the hype and speculation going around on the new Darkin lore, but I have a theory/question about the holes in Shaco's bio.

"Crafted long ago as a plaything for a lonely prince, the enchanted marionette Shaco now delights in murder and mayhem. Corrupted by dark magic and the loss of his beloved charge, the once-kind puppet finds pleasure only in the misery of the poor souls he torments. He uses toys and simple tricks to deadly effect, finding the results of his bloody “games” hilarious—and for those who hear a dark chuckle in the dead of night, the Demon Jester may have marked them as his next plaything."

This is quite vague, however, it did occur to me that their is a place that could fill 3 key requirements of his bio.

"Crafted long ago as a plaything for a lonely prince" "Corrupted by dark magic" "The loss of his beloved charge"

This could easily refer to the Shadow Isles. The Ruined King could be his father, and he is one of the only kings in League lore that we know has a wife he could have had the child with. They could be the parents of the "lonely prince". The death of his mother and his father going insane on a hunt for a means to save his wife could lead to the prince's loneliness, seeing as he would have little to no relation with his parents. It also doesn't specify that it was his father who made the doll, which is a good thing in this case, as the argument could be made that an insane king wouldn't really be in a position to create a plaything for his son. The dark magic that corrupts Shaco could be the Ruination of the Shadow Isles. Another counter argument is that if the Ruination affected Shaco, the non-living doll, wouldn't it also affect every other inanimate object as well? However, it does state that Shaco was an enchanted marionette, so their was some magic going on before his corruption, which could have been what differentiated Shaco from the rest of the non living objects that could have been affected. Another possibility is that the ruination trapped tormented souls in Shaco's enchanted marionette body. The loss of his beloved charge could also have come from the Ruination. It could also explain why the citizens of Runeterra know so little about Shaco himself, his origins were such a long time ago, know one in Runeterra alive today could have been around to know what happened to him.

Well that's it, thanks for the read.

He might've been Amumu's.

Amumu was a lonely Shuriman prince who was cursed.

Either that curse or the later Void breaches might've corrupted Shaco.

If this were the case, then the Ruined King would have brought his son (and his son’s toy) on a journey to resurrect his wife on the Blessed Isles in the first place. Personally I don’t believe that that would have been likely.
