What Ever Happened To Rhaast?

This whole Darkin Update is great, but, Rhaast seems really left out in this. The idea is the that Darkin were Ascended that fell from their nobility due to circumstance. From my understanding

Varus had to leave his family to die and fight the Void by himself, as not an Ascended but a warrior, and then become an Ascended to fight alongside them against the Void and Icathia. He's angry. He wants to destroy humanity. And he doesn't want to kill endlessly, in his comic we know he is searching for his darkin sister. His actions are wrong, but understandable in a way.

Aatrox was on the front lines of the battle, fought the Void, saw his brethren die, and now walks the earth after an eternity of pain in his disgusting form. He wants to kill everything in hopes of dying himself after having his revenge. But you can still feel his regret, his bitterness, in his voice lines. His actions are wrong, but understandable.

But then Rhaast, arguably the most bloodthirsty of the 3 darkin we know, hasn't gotten any explanation for why he is the way he is. We can assume the void and the war scarred him and whatnot, but the same happened to Aatrox, and untill Shurima fell and they began warring with each other, the Ascended and Aatrox himself were scarred, but not evil.

So, could we get a little more focus on Rhaast and maybe get some more insight on how these events affected him? Just to see more of what changed him from noble warrior to, well, the personality we get from his voice lines.

He was busy writing a memo when he got trapped.

He was already bloodthirsty to the point beyond reason when he got sealed in his scythe.

It's pretty obvious.

My guess is the isolation combined with being trapped as a mostly inanimate object made him snap.

In Aatrox's short story, he spends a handful of minutes trapped in his sword and he hates it. Rhaast hasn't had a single host since he got sealed in his scythe, and he's been buried alive since then if the line in Kayn's lore about being "recently unearthed" in Noxus is any indication.

Also in Aatrox's story, he freaks out at the mere thought of being "hidden for thousands of years." I don't know if the Darkin Wars happened thousands of years ago or hundreds, but either way, Rhaast was buried for a really long time.

Fighting the Void plus large-scale sensory deprivation plus immobility to the point where you can't even breathe plus solitary confinement plus a whole lot of time does not equal a well-adjusted individual.

Still, I'd love to know more about what he was like before all that happened.
