We need different builds. I'm tired of everyone going glass cannon. I thought of a item that grows in fortitude over time as the marksman attacks but he can still be blown up in a burst.

BRIERS FLEECE: Stats: +60 attack damage +45 Armor Passive Unique: Your armor increases with every strike, bonus +1 armor for every (per 1% of bonus Attack damage) before mitigation. Stacks last for 6 seconds with a maximum of 100 armor. Wardens Mail 1050 Pickaxe 875 Long sword 360 Visability: Ring of thorns vines at the owner's feet that decreases opacity at it gets stronger.

EDIT: Should cold steel be attached as a passive or should there be an alternate build with chainvest?

What should the final price be?

Would this tip the balance too much? I didn't think so cause the adc has to build AS to get the full benefit and he is giving up a little bit of damage to win against other adcs in a an extended exchange.

One question: Where would the attack speed debuff from item 3082 go?

Probably better to build it off item 1031 then.

Would it be better to leave it in? It would assist in the theme of the item until the adc built more speed. If the argument is that it would bee to strong with it then I could build it with chain vest.

You don't just put an item in because it would be better before hand. Exotic Tuna Can is correct.

Riot said a while ago they would probably never make an item with armor and AD for rift. The reason being is that every single top laner would build it and bruisers would go absolutely nuts. Everyone would be jarvan when his e gave him passive armor. They would just build this item and a maw then glass cannon and be able to have 140 armor and mr. It would tip the game too much. They would have 400 ad and still be able to tank. no thanks

MY Item builds over time. They couldn't tank with it. They would still get blown up if they used it to tank. I thought ahead. It is only good for protracted battles and you need to stay back until it builds. If you face Rengar one on one you are dead. You will never get enough stacks to beat him before he kills you. Bruiser don't build attack speed so my item wouldn't help them either. RIOT is kind of lazy when it comes to ideas. In my youth, I was a GM for 10 years in role playing games where I altered and created balanced items from scratch. Give me an hour and I will think of a way to create something that doesn't make one out of a 100+ champs crack.

That wasnt my point, it gives 45 armor base no matter what. With normal runes and masteries that will push you over 100 easily, not to mention you could get it up to 170 or 180 if you maxed it out. Thats a little broken. It gives armor equal to that of sunfire cape. Buy this on your first back as a top lane bruiser and absolutely crap on the other laner if they are ad. It says for every attack it adds one? so if riven slams out AOE in a team fight she maxes it insanely fast and now you have a normal 40 percent cdr riven but she has 170 armor too. It would just be too much. I think the game could also move along without ever having to see a graves with 200 armor.

AHHHHHHHH. I see. I did consider it not having any standard armor but I thought thematically it didn't sound right. I also didn't know it was a taboo subject to Riot. They have a lot of "NEVER DO's" Just seems lazy tome. I see your point with the base armor. I also thought that the stacks would MAX 100 armor including the base armor. What do you think?
