We keep telling Riot we want less mobility. They keep giving us more.
The dash probably works in the same way as it currently does for Irelia, where it refreshes if the dash itself kills the target it's dashing to, hence why Irelia almost only dashes again after the target she has dashed to dies upon the impact (which may sound OP on paper, but really isn't, given most of the time it's only used for last hitting and trading in lanes). I said "almost" because I didn't notice earlier, but she also seems to be able to dash to targets she has marked with the "poke" thingy, which I wouldn't call it superb mobility given after all, it's like a remote Jhin W, it's likely not easy to land and chances of ever skewering more than 1 or 2 enemy champ at once is not particularly high I'd feel.
It's the presentation focus of the teaser that's the most problematic, given it intentionally framed as if Irelia is this obnoxiously flashy and overpowered champ when very well, and chances are that, she doesn't play like this in practice. Framing and presenting in a manipulated way that gives the impression that the champ is overpowered may be an effective marketing for some people, but it's also very much questionable in terms of its underlying thought process of utilising such a tactic, especially in a game where game balance is key. Not even Street Fighter and other fighting games sell a new character by having them infinitely comboing or 1-hit an opponent from full HP to 0 in 1 go, I don't think, let alone 1 shotting the entire enemy team like this one.
