Why can evelynn charm despite missing the first q
its probably the most rage inducing mechanic in the game to have eve miss q and have another q come up that cant miss (or she presses e)
dunno just sucks being point and click charmed pretty much

Because in the depths of bronze, even Evelynn needs some sort of safety net for her kit. Taking the charm away after missing q would lead to a higher risk with less reward.
Also it allows her to zone / be relevant even against good players.
The first Q has a damage amp steroid skillshot, and then when the charm is full it attaches a debuff.
But lets be honest here, most people uses E to proc the charm anyway.
Ya riot just keeps making things less skillful/ more forgiving
