Does the grade have an influence on your LP subtraction/addition?

So I've been on a losing streak, twice I've been made to go into support. Not that I mind, but I feel like I have a lack of control as to how the game might turn out, since it's the hardest role to actually be able to carry anything.

My main frustration was with my last match (which we lost), I went 2/6/26 and a grade of S-. Yet I was given a hefty reduction in my LP. -22 is a bit of a steep penalty for losing a match despite doing well. item 3070
