is it just me or is the queue system kinda messed up currently?

Edit: polished this up cuz i was kinda salty,,,

So um, my complaint is that i keep getting matched up against players who have a much higher game experience than me in the normal queue, and this kinda stops me from improving myself in the game when i lane against an +200 wins malz mid or anything similar like that. I mean, like 2 weeks ago i was still playing with and against people of my league and as experienced as me, but now..
