Riot has no idea whats the main issue with ziggs and thinks his waveclear is still PROBLEMATIC ROFL?

Riot stand on Ziggs

What we’re happy with: Perfectly captures the Mad Bomber thematic. Fills a unique artillery role by lobbing bombs constantly Mega Inferno Bomb creates some high-moments and big plays What we’re less happy with: Has the ability to stall out games by keeping multiple minion waves pushed Doesn’t distinguish himself enough from the other long-range mages (like Lux and Xerath), meaning you tend to just play whichever is the strongest

Did Anyone from Riot play ziggs recently?

  1. Ziggs wave clear is average at best today NOWHERE NEAR BEING A PROBLEM... yes caps lock because I am mad because you are so off with this -If he used ultimate to clear a sideline wave THEN HE JUST USED AN ULTIMATE... -Dive him its so easy because he is unreliable -ZZrot -Banner of Command -Baron buff -literaly every dragon buff is useful against towers

There is a place for a waveclear champion in league of legends given that there are so many viable tools to fk up towers nowdays. Having said that I dont really care if this ll be ziggs niche or not as long as you find one this would just make your life easier

Biggest ziggs problem is his reliability **His **godamn passive locks him in place for to long meaning that he ll get hit by an oposing champion. Seriously its like he self stuns himself for a second

-**His Q is impossible to hit the more you climb

-Ability does OK damage and drains quite alot mana. Ziggs used to be considered a lane bully and he is so far from that nowdays

-** His q** can be dodged just by going straight backwards as long as your champion is faster then 380ms (Hello tier 2 boots on 99% champions) because ziggs bomb has like 375 speed after it reaches a ground for the first time

-His q can be dodged by just going towards him... YEAH it is always fun to see bouncing bomb bouncing over enemy champion 10/10

-Given that it is one of the thinest abilities you can just dodge it sideways and this is how players dodge it most of the time because trying to land max range q ll never be worth it for a ziggs player and he wont try it because everyone knows his bombs travel slowly and wont hit anything

So realisticly ziggs q range is ..the circle you see once your press q in high elo. Yeah sometimes you can cast it from further and if the targeted is stunned by an ally and pray it wont bounce over a stunned enemy.... (It happends..)

-**I **dont even consider ziggs long range mage because his q is ultra unreliable once you try to hit something outside of circle, His e has bigger dmg potentional if you dont scratch people with the end of ability, His w doesnt do much dmg so we shouldnt even count it..

Mega inferno bomb is kinda like bard ultimate.. it wont hit a champion unless you throw it from like 2k range or less (2k range is little)

His dmg is Absolutely pathetic and he is ultra reliable

Compared to xerath who outclasses him by: -Range -Mana management -Pick off potentional (He has e) -Poke -Reliability he is like 4 times more reliable... to reliable in fact (Except ulti thats fair) -He actually has better waveclear 1 xerath q can clear an entire wave while ziggs needs 2x q and 1x e -Damage better base damage and ratios on everything (Didnt check but I believe its true) -Lower cooldowns overall

Only things ziggs has over xerath by a little is zoning potentional.. and his unreliable escape

They seem very concerned with mages stalling games out. I haven't noticed that at all in my low gold ranked play over the past 4 years.

It's possible that their projects take so long to complete now that they end up "fixing" the problems of yesteryear.

It's also possible they are fixing issues experienced in the pro scene that aren't issues experienced on the ranked ladder.

Maybe, they have some way of measuring the zeitgeist of the player base, and most people would disagree with our assessment that mages stalling out games isn't an issue.

I share the same experience. I never thought that the mages could stall games. Aparently ziggs COULD do that like a year ago But back then I was ziggs main and I dont feel like I could stall games... Nowdays ziggs needs to use 2312313 abilities to do anything to a wave. Waveclear isnt even his strengt..

Nah after last ADC rework they decided that they ll aim mages next.. That was like 3 months ago and ziggs was the same

If they rewert all the nerfs they have doneto a ziggs in the past. He would still not be able to stall anything nowdays. Main reason is baron Buff purple minions

We seem to agree.
