I play a lot of support, and I would find Malz support tolerable to deal with if not for one thing.

item 3222 DOES NOT REMOVE SUPPRESSION

For god fucking sakes WHY does suppression have to be the ultimate fucking CC that can't be cleansed or countered in any way? I honestly wouldn't mind facing Malz support knowing that I or any other Support could rush item 3222 and give my ADC at least a little bit of counter play to his unstoppable ult that makes every gank succeed. but no, suppression HAS to be the true damage of CC, there is just no way to stop it and once it happens you are pretty much fucked.

i just don't get it man.

Well, they balanced it to be the ultimate CC. Suppression does almost as much CC to the caster as it does to the target, and is extremely counterable. Silence? You're golden. Stun? Golden! Displacement? Golden! QSS? SUPER GOLDEN! Are you bard? double golden

I play Bard support a lot and if i'm against a Malz support i'll hold back my q to stun malz or my ult ( funniest one was i ulted my carry and left malz at the mercy of my team )

You can CC the Malz, and it breaks the suppression.

INNATE: Malzahar receives Void Shift if he hasn't taken damage nor been affected by crowd control in the last 30 / 24 / 18 / 12 seconds. Damage from minions does not interact with Void Shift.

Void Shift phases out Malzahar, making him immune to crowd control and taking 90% reduced damage, lingering for 0.25 seconds after taking damage or blocking a crowd control effect.

You have to bring multiple forms of CC to the table if Malz is smart enough to wait for his passive to be up before using his Suppression.

AA, wait .25 seconds, CC

I'm not 100% sure as it's really unlikely to test this as you pretty much have to dump 2 CC skills at him at once to hit the .25 seconds, but I'm decently sure the CC immunity doesn't linger for .25 seconds.

According to Riot themselves it does. Not a guarantee that's actually how long it lasts, but that's what's intended.

or pick Soraka because her silence is lingering

Sometimes I take summoner 1 as Kog'Maw in the instance of an Annie, Lux, Thresh but can't use it vs WW or Malzahar!!!!

Or you can just stun malz or shield the target of his ult. I have been doing malz supp since they reworked him and the person I can't deal with to well is zyra
