Because it should be reminded that if you're a one trick or hard champion main, you're invalidated from being good because you lack similar skill on anyone else. I hate OTPS so much I get disgusted and feel like losing if I have one on my team.
I honestly have much more respect for someone who's never played a champion but learning it in my game than an OTP.

Absolutely fucking not do you want someone who has never played their champ on your team more than an OTP. You sound like you just got thrashed by one, to be honest.

Even if that was true, why would you care if that person was good or not? Regardless of if it's a person's first time playing a champion or their thousandth time, all you really need is for them to be good enough for you to win.

What if a one trick for Ranked tries out new champions in Normals all the time?

Player A is OK with multiple champs but has never played champion X before. Player B is a 1-trick that's really good on their champion, but has never played champion X before.
They have the exact same experience on champion X, but player B has actually mastered a champion's kit and most likely understands how to play into counter matchups.
