Is there a delay on Kled being able to get Courage again after he remounts Skaarl?

I've had a few situations where, as Kled, I've remounted Skaarl, got knocked off him again within a short time period (i.e. 30 seconds), and then when I attack enemies while unmounted the second time around, I can't gain Courage.

Is this intended? I noticed this a lot in Ascension mode, but it's also happened to me before in normals.

Yes, there's a cooldown on gaining Courage again. Its exactly 30 seconds and it starts upon remounting.

Kled's passive (his remount) has a CD so you can't infinitely remount back onto Skaarl in a short time window. This indeed intended or he could theoretically be invincible when ahead, and that is something Riot isn't interested in, im sure.
